Finding the right match is important—for both your family and our dogs. Our adoption process is designed to help ensure every dog finds a safe, loving home where they can thrive.

1. Submit an Application
Complete our adoption application so we can learn about you, your home, and the type of dog you're hoping to welcome into your family.

2. Application Review
Our volunteers will review your application, which may include checking veterinary and personal references, confirming landlord approval (if applicable), and completing a home visit or virtual home check.

3. Meet & Greet
If your application is a good fit, we'll arrange a meet and greet with the dog. This gives everyone—including any resident pets and household members—a chance to get to know one another and helps us determine whether it's the right match.

4. Finalize the Adoption
Once everyone agrees it's a great fit, we'll review and sign the adoption agreement, collect the adoption fee, and you'll officially welcome your new family member home!

5. Ongoing Support
Our commitment doesn't end on adoption day. We are always happy to provide guidance and support as you and your new companion settle in together.
