Behind every successful adoption is a community that made it possible.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the wellbeing and humane treatment of dogs (responsible pet ownership, spaying/neutering, provision of food, water, shelter, love, health care) and to help reduce the dog overpopulation and rate of dog euthanasia in Manitoba for the benefit of the public.

We’re committed to rescuing, transporting, sheltering, vetting and caring for surrendered, abandoned, abused, neglected, lost, pregnant and injured canines. We help by providing temporary foster care and facilitating adoptions into loving forever homes.

To accomplish this, we raise funds to cover the organization’s costs, rely on volunteer services, network with the community and work collaboratively with other dog rescue agencies and partners. Our attention is primarily focused on communities within southwestern Manitoba, including First Nation communities, we don’t don’t necessarily limit ourselves exclusively to this region.

As our home office is located within the town of Carberry, MB, we are particularly mindful of the wellbeing of dogs in and around that community.
