Twinkle
Sweet • Resilient • Adorable
At just 3.6 lbs, Twinkle is a tiny little girl with a whole lot of love and a bright future ahead of her! This adorable Husky mix was born on September 2 and came into rescue after her mama began pushing her away. Twinkle was born with a deformity in her left front leg, and veterinary assessment confirmed there are no nerve endings running through it. To give this little sweetheart the best chance at a happy, fulfilling life, amputation has been planned for when she is 10 weeks old. She's facing a big change for such a little pup, but Twinkle is already showing us just how much there is to love about her!
Now in a loving foster home, Twinkle is thriving with plenty of care, affection, and support. Her foster family previously adopted one of our dogs, Skye, two years ago, and Skye has stepped into a wonderful motherly role with little Twinkle. Aside from her physical difference, Twinkle is just like any other puppy—sweet, playful, and ready to explore the world around her. She'll need a family willing to give her the time, patience, and love she deserves as she grows and adjusts after surgery, but we have every hope that she'll thrive. Twinkle may be tiny, but she's already shining bright, and the right family will see that she's so much more than her little leg.
